Affiliate Program Terms
These are the key terms governing participation in the YourFit Affiliate Program. By participating, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Program Overview
The YourFit Affiliate Program is free to join and open to qualified creators, trainers, and fitness professionals. Affiliates receive a unique referral code to promote YourFit and earn commissions on successful premium subscriptions.
Affiliates participate as independent contractors — not employees, partners, or agents of YourFit.
2. Commission & Payouts
| Commission rate | 30% recurring — you earn 30% of every payment your referrals make (first month and every renewal) for as long as they stay subscribed |
| Vesting period | 7 days — the first commission is held for 7 days after purchase. Cancellations within 7 days earn nothing. After 7 days the commission is yours to keep, and renewal commissions are credited as they happen. |
| Payout threshold | Minimum $100.00 balance required to request a payout |
| Payout schedule | Paid monthly via PayPal or bank transfer |
| Cookie duration | 30 days — if a user clicks your link and subscribes within 30 days, you're credited |
3. Inactivity Policy
To remain active in the program, affiliates must show consistent promotional effort. An account is considered inactive if there are zero new referrals and zero new promotional content posts within any 90-day period.
When an account becomes inactive, YourFit may:
- Deactivate the referral code
- Revoke any complimentary Premium Plan access granted as part of the program
Re-activation is available at YourFit's discretion upon a new content commitment. Earned commissions are not forfeited due to inactivity.
4. Conduct & Termination
YourFit may terminate an affiliate immediately and without notice for:
- Illegal activity or unethical business practices
- Public statements that disparage or damage the YourFit brand
- Failure to comply with FTC disclosure requirements (see below)
- Fraudulent referrals or manipulation of the affiliate system
5. FTC Disclosure Requirement
All promotional content must clearly disclose the affiliate relationship with YourFit. Accepted disclosures include #ad, #sponsored, or an explicit verbal statement such as "This is a paid partnership with YourFit."
Failure to disclose is a violation of FTC guidelines and grounds for immediate termination.
6. Intellectual Property
YourFit grants affiliates a limited, non-exclusive license to use the YourFit name and logo solely for approved promotional content. This license ends upon termination of the affiliate relationship. Affiliates may not alter, combine, or use YourFit branding in any way that implies endorsement beyond the affiliate program.
7. Program Changes
YourFit reserves the right to modify commission rates, payout thresholds, or any other program terms at any time. Affiliates will be notified of material changes. Continued participation after notice constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
